Hi, I’m Ava! I make law and compliance understandable, engaging, and human, helping people navigate complex regulations and understand their rights without feeling overwhelmed.
Currently, I work with pharmacovigilance databases, handling and analyzing health data in line with EU and national regulations, while pursuing a law degree (LL.B) part-time. In my work there, I'm passionate about ethical and compliant use of health data, especially in AI-driven healthcare innovation. More broadly, I care about privacy, accountability, and digital rights across tech, governance, and research contexts.
I help organizations and institutions — companies, NGOs, regulators, researchers, and advocacy groups — navigate data protection, compliance, governance and advocacy. I also contribute to 🔗noyb.eu’s GDPRhub project as a Country Reporter, summarizing and analyzing national data protection case law for Germany and Austria, and I'm always open for more volunteering opportunities.
I’m working toward an LL.M in Data Protection Law and professional certifications like AIGP, CIPP/E, and ISO 27001 Lead Implementer. At the same time, I continue to explore how law, ethics, and tech intersect, and how these insights can strengthen protections for people while promoting safer, fairer, and more accountable practices for organizations that make them the more popular choice for consumers.
